Description
I don't draw much anymore. I dunno why. Maybe I should do commisisons. Although my last attempt at that failed miserably.
Anyhow, I bought this sword for WAY too much. Way. Too. Much. And, when I got it, it had a crystal missing. And another broken, but still attached. Typical. There's many swords of Omens , but someone finally made one which is worth buying. This one:

It's not perfect. But it's close. And it won't get closer, so I bought it.
But, it cost a lot of $$$ so I figure it had better be perfect .... and it wasn't. So I made it so.
I replaced the missing crystal and painted over the plastic "eye" with Acrylic paint ... it doesn't cover the symbol up when lit fully, but it does a fair job. Sadly, I didn't quite orient the symbol correctly .. part bad reference part to cover the old symbol under the plastic. Well, the symbol changes position in every picture, so ... whatever.
The black is Krylon metal paint. some of it got on the red bits of the eye and stuck there ... looks passable, I think. There's unavoidable brush strokes, so I suppose the imperfection doesn't bug me much.
Sadly, I cut the wiring on the inside of the hilt by accident ... that still has to be fixed in a permenant way. That's this weekend.
