Sims 4 New Reaper screen 1

Holy crap is it hard to make a custom Reaper. And I didn't even get a good screen shot.  But look at that cuteye Hel is giving Śmierć. 

So I made a Reaper family in Sims 4.  But it was important to me that they all be legit Grim reapers, so I cheated a bunch in there and altered them to suit.  I know about the modded trait, but I wanted these guys to be legit, even if it means they lose regular Sim benefits. Reapers have a hidden trait called "isGrimReaper" which doesn't work on normal Sims or non Reaper NPC Sims.  Yeah.  That was fun to test out.  And there is a hidden career called "GrimReaper".  So, you can see where I'm going with this.

Guess what?  Hel did NOT want that job back.  At ALL.

So a few things about that gig.  I haven't tested it out fully, but:
1) Non reapers can't do anything with it.  At least it doesn't look like it.
2) Kids and teens can't do squat either.  Which is a shame since having a tyke be a reaper would be fun!

So HOW do I get Hel her old job back?  I use the Book of Chaos mod to keep the NPC Grim busy - by having aliens abduct him!  With someone dying and him not around Hel had to pick up the scythe.  But ... it came with side effects.  Namely, I couldn't click on Hel at all afterwards.  I could still click on other things, but she was severely hampered.  So I lost interest.  But maybe I'll try again.  I mean ... how about a robot reaper?  What if I made Grim a kid AFTER he was in a soul harvester capacity? 

Well, by the time it was done I just left it and didn't save.  It wasn't worth it to me.  So I dunno if it was permeant or if Grim would take over again once Hel was at work. 


This is seriously hard to do.  When I tried it again in another household Grim just kept reappearing!  Despite being abducted!  Maybe because this household had a bunch of Reapers? 

I think I may try ONE MORE TIME, but make a new Sim specifically to be my modded Grim.  But the standard one looks very cool.  I dunno if I actually wanna change him.  We'll see.  All the effort hasn't been too worth it, IMO.
